Flexible installation with ROTEX variosafe
Easy transport and installation and high variability make ROTEX variosafe the best solution to problems for builders, heating engineers and architects. There are hardly any staircases, storage room openings or small doors which the variosafe cannot be taken through. It is effortless to transport the variosafe tanks through narrow and winding basement rooms and to add them to a group of tanks containing several thousands of litres. Heating oil can now even be stored in low rooms and the tank system can be enlarged at a later date without any problems.
Heating room and storage room in one
With ROTEX variosafe you can design your heating room quite differently: Gain space and living comfort by having the heating oil storage and boiler in the one room. Building regulations (German State Fire Codes) permit the storage of up to 5,000 litres of heating oil in the installation room. It must be ensured that there is a minimum distance between the boiler and the safety tank of 1 m if no radiation protection is available. The plastic lining of the ROTEX A1 condensing oil boiler acts as radiation protection and does not get any hotter than 40 °C at any point. This has been certified by a TÜV report. As a result, a minimum distance of 10 cm between the oil tank and A1 boiler is sufficient. For handling purposes, we recommend a distance of at least 40 cm.
