The Protect system plates have a two-sheet structure. The heat insulation and low-noise flooring are made of polystyrene, as well as the naps. The top covering sheet is made of deep-drawn grey polystyrene. This polystyrene covering layer projects at two side walls to overlap the system plate next to it. This creates a thick bond which acts as an excellent sealant, even in the case of a very fluid flow screed. The entire nap surface is extremely load-bearing and can be walked upon frequently without any problem or the plate suffering damage.
