The Duo heating pipe

The heart of the System 70 Industry is the DUO heating pipe (25/18 x 2 mm). It consists of a water-conducting internal pipe surrounded by a ribbed jacket. The internal pipe is an oxygen-tight PE-X pipe with dimensions 18 x 2 mm. It has been tested and approved in accordance with DIN 4726/4729, (Reg. No. 3V068 PE-X). The ribbed pipe is made of polyethylene (PE). The DUO Pipe in the System 70 is used both for the underfloor heating and for connecting free heating surfaces such as radiators, air heaters or similar.
The special feature of the DUO Pipe is its structure. The air gap surrounding the water conducting pipe is used as precisely defined heat insulation. This means that the System 70 Industry underfloor heating can be operated using a considerably higher feed temperature than conventional systems. The design feed temperature in System 70 Industry is max. 70 °C, whilst in conventional underfloor heating systems the upper limit is mostly at approx. 50 °C.
The DUO Pipe is supplied in rolls up to 200 m. When laying the pipe, the specially designed pipelayer (Model RAW 600) is used. A pipe drum with dispenser is available for larger surface areas. This pipe drum holds 1400 m of DUO Pipe.
