Retrofitting underfloor heating - Easily and quickly

When modernising existing buildings, the integration of underfloor heating is often desired. The additional requirement of raising the floor and the hot water temperature of the existing heating network often makes the work laborious, costly and sometimes impossible.

This is where ROTEX System 70 mini comes in: With the DUO 13 Pipe specially developed for this case, floor heating surfaces with very low structural heights can often be successfully implemented. At the same time, System 70 mini offers all the system advantages of System 70. This means that the underfloor heating can be connected to the existing heating network without the floor being overheated. Additional mixing equipment is not required. This is a top-of-the-range underfloor heating system, uncompromising from a technical perspective which, in contrast to systems with return flow temperature limit, ensures that there is a balanced surface temperature throughout the room.

Small and flexible - The Combi Box

With a Combi box specially developed for this situation, up to two underfloor heating circuits can be connected together with a radiator. For underfloor heating, the Combi box can be built directly into the connection area of the radiator in the wall, i.e. behind the radiator for the underfloor heating into the wall. This means that, particularly with existing radiators, the underfloor heating system can be retrofitted economically and practically invisibly. Radiators and underfloor heating are then selected using the same controller and therefore the room temperature is optimally regulated.

ROTEX System 70 secco - The drying system

ROTEX System 70 secco is an underfloor heating system which is manufactured entirely in dry design. The DUO Pipe is placed in the heat conduction elements. These distribute the heat evenly. Instead of the otherwise usual wet screed, dry screed elements are added. These are glued and screwed at the joints. The great advantage of this system is that the final floor covering can be fitted after 24 hours.
