The system plates
The ROTEX System 70 underfloor heating is created by using system plates.
The advantages
- Uniform temperature profile through precise pipe conduction
- Heating pipe is completely surrounded by screed
- Good heat insulation with regard to the substructure
- Excellent low-noise flooring properties
- Easy to lay
- Environmentally friendly - CFC-free and easy to recycle
The Protect system plates have a two-sheet structure. The heat insulation and low-noise flooring are made of polystyrene, as are the naps. The top covering sheet is made of deep-drawn grey polystyrene. This polystyrene covering layer projects at two side walls to overlap the system plate next to it. This creates a thick bond which acts as an excellent sealant, even in the case of a very fluid flow screed. This entire nap surface has excellent weight-bearing properties. It can be walked over several times without the plate suffering any damage.
